Hi, we are a group of students from Pamplona, Spain that have been working on a project about the state of Washington. We have noticed that Washington is a very green site where you can practice a wide range of sports, even if you don’t like nature there are places like Seattle and other big cities. But we have some questions and doubts, we hope you´ll answer them: Which place is the most visited? Which woman sport is the most practiced? Which type of tourism is the most applied for?

Beach tourism
In Washington you´ll find large and hilarious beaches, where you´ll be able to choose between a lot of activities, from most quiet (watching whales and seals from the boat), to the most physically exigent ones (surf, horse riding, kayaking) As the coast extends from the north of the state to the south you´ll find different landscapes. Also you can delight the incredible sunsets.

The most famous sports on Washington are, as you know, basketball, baseball and American football. These three sports are very curious for foreign people, but very normal for natives. Mount Rainier National Park
If you are a nature lover this is your state, full of national parks such as the one I’m going to introduce to you now.
The park was established in 1899 as the fifth national park in the United States, it has 956,60km2.
Don´t worry if for example you don’t like to see only forests because in Mount Rainier National Park you´ll find valleys, waterfalls, subalpine meadows and more than 25 glaciers. Here it´s difficult to get bored. In the photo we can see the Rainier Mountain, an attractive for mountaineers, with 4,300m tall the mountain is the cause of the 50% of the annual visits.
Even though the park is the snowiest place on earth so make sure you´ll take with you enough warm clothes and snow boots.
